Roomba 595 and Roomba 650 are two robotic vacuum cleaners available in a similar price range. Both models are made by the same manufacturer, iRobot, an American company that is well-known for producing high-quality robotic products. So, what are the differences between iRobot Roomba 595 and iRobot Roomba 650? Which one is most suitable for you?
If you put Roomba 595 and Roomba 650 side by side, you will be able to see that they are about the same size. They are also about the same weight. They each comes with a slim circular body that allows them to easily climb thick carpets and rugs and also to snug under your furniture so that there won’t be any dust or dirt that can hide. Nevertheless, there are some characteristic distinctions on their looks. Roomba 595 comes with a white font and a textured pattern on the top surface. On the other hand, Roomba 650 features a gray font and a yellow circle that surrounds the center panel, while the rest of the top surface is gloss black. Of course, Roomba 595 is a special model that has been designed for the Pet Series. It comes with the significantly stiffer bristled brushes. This feature makes cleaning the mess caused by your pet so much easier and faster. The bristled brushes are also quite powerful for removing stubborn dirt and stains. Nevertheless, both Roomba 595 and Roomba 650 actually come with the same engine; they make use of the 3-Stage Cleaning System which combines agitation, brushing, and suction to deliver optimum cleaning performance.
Both of them are also armed with the iAdapt Navigation technology, incorporating a full suite of sensors that allow these robotic vacuum cleaners to navigate and adapt to your ever-changing home. They are smart enough to avoid stairs and other drop-offs, and you can also set virtual walls to limit their work area. Both Roomba 595 and Roomba 650 can automatically return to their docking stations to recharge if the battery level gets low. Nevertheless, Roomba 650 comes with a slightly longer battery life, up to 120 minutes per charge, whereas Roomba 595 only has 90 minutes maximum battery life per charge.
